Which insurance providers do you accept?
Veritas Voice & Speech LLC currently accepts Medicare, Medicaid of Vermont, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Veritas Voice & Speech LLC does not directly bill private other insurance providers not listed above at this time; however, we can provide private pay clients with a superbill (insurance receipt) to submit for insurance reimbursement.

Do I need a referral?
It depends on your insurance. We suggest calling your insurance provider to find out what they require.
If you are seeking gender-affirming voice training or related services, we highly recommend obtaining a referral from a medical doctor. We’ve found that claims tend to be denied less frequently when we do have a referral in place.

Do you have a waitlist?
We currently do have a waitlist. We highly encourage you to contact us if you are interested in being added to it!

How long should I expect to be in therapy?
It depends! New patients and clients are encouraged to schedule weekly sessions at least for the first 8-12 sessions, and then typically we will reduce the frequency between sessions (every two to four weeks) depending on progress.
